Our PNEUTON™ engineering team has just completed the 3D models for our next contract…… This ORBINOX ‘VG’ series bi-directional slurry handling knife gate valve is destined for use on an iron ore tailings application. T he specification demanded a ductile iron body, AISI 2205 DUPLEX gate, and natural rubber sleeves. The stem is fitted with a protective bellows as standard. The splash guard assembly on the bottom of the valve ensures any process discharge can be periodically flushed, as best practise. The valve is automated by an AUMA multi-turn electric actuator.
