These 3-off ORBINOX ‘BC’ square ported knife gate valves are destined for use on a polymer bulk handling application. Fabricated from AISI 316SS material, including the deflector cone, and fitted with our PneuPURG™ system to periodically flush the seat area cavity. There are 6-off purge points, each fitted with a needle valve to ensure a uniform pressure at each orifice for optimum performance. The purge sequence is customer controlled on this occasion, however, can be engineered as a fully self-contained logic. A double acting pneumatic actuator was specified to operate the valves, which has been fitted with our PneuLINK™ linear-to-rotary integrated control platform.
