These ORBINOX ‘BC’ square ported knife gate valves are destined for use on a bulk handling application. Fabricated from carbon steel S275JR, with a 316 s/steel gate, and special sliders to guide the gate throughout it’s stroke. The valves are painted in accordance with ISO 12944 C5M paint system, in compliance with the project specifications. A double acting pneumatic actuator was specified to operate the valves, which has been fitted with our PneuLINK™ linear-to-rotary integrated control platform, incorporating 2-off limit switches and a 5/2 mono-stable solenoid valve, with the added benefit of the open / closed beacon visual indicator.
